Wolf spiders are typically found near ground level outdoors but can also enter homes through open doors or windows. They are generally harmless and do not spin webs. Brown Recluse Spiders are more dangerous and have a venomous bites. They are small and light brown, with distinctive violin-shaped markings on their backs. You may find them in dark corners, closets, basements, and other undisturbed areas of your home. House spiders or cellar spiders create messy webs inside your house.

Cellar spiders, commonly referred to as “daddy longlegs,” are harmless but have a mysterious urban legend attached to them. Contrary to the myth, they cannot bite because their fangs are too small and therefore aren’t venomous! These non-threatening creatures can often be found in cellars or attics of your home, where they tend to hide out during the day. At night these helpful little arachnids come out searching for pests such as ants and flies, which helps keep an undesirable insect population at bay in our homes.
